Every engagement starts with a short discovery call and a written scope letter. The letter lists engines involved, environments we may access, deliverable format, and estimated calendar duration. Fees are quoted after discovery—not on this page—because access depth drives effort.
Project work
Projects suit one-off optimisations: a release blocking slow reports, a replica lag investigation, or a migration rehearsal. Milestones typically include baseline capture, paired working sessions, and a handover memo your team signs off.
Ongoing advisory
Advisory fits teams that want a senior database performance reviewer on call without hiring full time. We join sprint planning when schema changes touch hot tables and review execution plans before they reach production.
Local collaboration
When you are in Kota Kinabalu, we can meet at our Lintas address for whiteboard sessions. Remote clients receive the same artefacts; only the facilitation channel changes.
